The area produces abundant agricultural specialties, including guavas, jujubes, tomatoes, yellow watermelons, and Dagangshan longan honey. The Alian District Farmers' Association actively promotes these products, exporting high-quality guavas internationally. | During the harvest season, products made from longan, such as dried longan and longan honey, are the most popular. June to August of each year is the longan harvest season; the smoke-dried longan using ancient techniques, along with the high-quality longan honey, have created Dagangshan’s unique longan industry culture. The Dagangshan Longan Honey Cultural Festival is organized by relevant authorities each year to showcase this unique heritage and market the local honey industry. |
