 The Gangshan Natural Ecology Park covers 80 hectares, the park is abundant in spring water, bamboo and forests, and the winding path allows the visitors to know many wild animal and plant species. It is a unique ecological resource on the western plains of Kaohsiung County.
After parking the car at the ecological park parking lot, visitors can enter the Dagang Mountain Natural Ecological Park. There are over 20 scenic and resting spots along the hiking trail, such as the mining museum, green park and Siangsih footpath, natural park, Sinliang pavilion, Haoliang pavilion, recreational wooden platform, viewing platform, observatory, wooden path, recreational square etc. Visitors will be able to get to know many wild plants and animals, making this an essential destination for outdoor education of school and kindergarten children .
